Non-animal selling pet store in Belfast, NI

Funky Pets on the Ormeau Road doesn't sell any animals. They cater for guinea pigs with the Excel range (pellets and hay) but they also have locally sourced meadow hay. They do bottles, food dishes. No leashes, no balls, no mineral licks or exercise wheels. They'll also order stuff in for you at no cost (I asked them to get the Excel Guinea Pig 10kg bag for me).

Plus they don't sell any of those crappy tiny cages. I did a happy dance around the store; the woman was very confused.

They do stuff for dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, chinchillas, pigs, and fish. It's not a huge shop, but it's good.

(Even better for me is that it's very close to where my boyfriend's friend lives who's taking care of my pigs when I go into hospital, so it'll be easier for him to get to instead of Pets at Home.)

Thats cool! Maybe we should have a thread on a list of non-animal selling petstores?

I'm trying to come up with a list of non-animal-selling stores for Belfast, at least. I may have found two more; they claim to be just pet supplies. Then again, they might regard the actual pets AS supplies. So I'll have to go check them out.

A list would be a really good idea.

Shame I'm so far from Belfast. I don't know of any non-animal selling petshops near me. (I'm in Mid-Ulster). But must keep an eye out for that one if ever I'm in Belfast.
