    Cold snap coming this way

I would hope that nobody on this forum does this, but of any of your animals are kept outdoors, please make sure they are sheltered and warm. I cold sna is coming this week, with tempertures as low as -10C!!!!!

20 degrees warmer than that is reason enough to keep them inside!

I would like some snow now, please.

Nooooooo! I hate it when it's cold because my car gets all icey and the raods are scary and my hands freeze to the steering wheel if I don't wear gloves. I have a Rover Metro so it takes a million years to heat up.

We have had snow the past few days, quite thick in the morning, but gone by the end of the day.

Re: Cold snap coming this way

Not had proper snow here since December. There is plenty further north for skiing, though. Hoping to go up in the next week or so!

Took this out the window just before new year:

This time last year it looked more like this out my window:

Those are very good photos! My fave winter scene is still the one with the 2 piggies looking out of the window onto a snowy scene. Was going to turn it into a crimbo card. Its on the website somewhere, the name of the thread was something like 'snow day'.

Yes please. Just enough so that it would snow, though. Look how lovely the skiing is up north:

Yep. I'm looking for Glencoe to keep its snow, though, as it's closer to me.

Ok, it's not nearly that cold here. My pigs spent the majority of today and yesterday outside. Yesterday the sun was shining down midday and it was gorgeous! It snowed all day thursday but didn't even settle for a minute.

Re: Cold snap coming this way

Acording to the weather forcast we are only going to be getting lows of 0 here. I really want some snow so I can let the fetters play in it again but I can't see that happening somehow.

When I read it, I thought fetters referred to ferrets, but I may be wrong.
