Question same food??

Can rats and mice eat the same food, only food ive seen for rats is also for mice too??

Yes, but make sure it is a lab block and not a seed mix. Seeds should be more of a treat rather than the main diet.

They are blocks of food, similar to a pellet, but bigger. If you can't find a good quality rat food, then you could also feed a quality dog food like Innova senior dog food.

Watch out for lab blocks because they are such a commercial wide spectrum food they often contain too much protein for rats, which eat a more grain based diet. try a home amde diet if you are close to a bulk food store, its cheap and simple and lasts much longer then store bought foods. blocks are also boring

I have a rat and I feed him a mix that is made for rats/mice and I have had him on the same food for a year.
