| Re: Adopting Ratties I might if you are serious. A while back my dad got 2 female rats from a petstore ( I know big mistake) and one of them ended up having 13 babies. He found good homes for some of them but still has several. He ended up buying a huge cage to divide the boys and girls. He spends a lot of time trying to tame them and handle them.He had put an add in pet finder but the only response he got was from people who wanted them as snake food. He really wants them to have a good home. He works in SC but travels to Roanoke often which is where my Mom is. We live in Richmond. He could travel here to visit us,or we often go to Roanoke to take our kids to visit their grandparents. So one way or another if you are interested we could figure some way to get them to Richmond if you wanted to come here??? |

| Re: Adopting Ratties You might also want to check Virginia Beach SPCA. There are currently 4 rats that I counted at the VA Beach SPCA. |

| Re: Adopting Ratties Hmm... I will have to ask my mom about going out to Richmond. How many girls do you have? I already have 2 girls but they arnt very friendly. I got them from a pet store because there wasnt any ratties in my area. |

| Re: Adopting Ratties Percy's Mom is right, you should check out the SPCA since it's so close to you. And they have so many animals right now that need good homes. It looks like they still have several females if that is what you are looking for. Snickers looks like a real cutie! If however, they don't have anymore when you go,send me a private e-mail and I can give you some more info on my Dad's girls. |
