Is mazuri rat food ok?

I went to the feed store where I but my guinea pig bedding, and I saw mazuri rat food. Is it good rat food? I feed my guinea pig mazuri guinea pig food so I thought maybe it would be ok. Does anyone know if it is good rat food?

I have one more question. Is the block or pellet mix type food better for rats?

I found that on RattieRats Rescue Website http://ratguide.com/care/
That they recommend Mazuri. Here is the page http://ratguide.com/care/nutrition/diet.php

This rescue is recommended by members on Guinea Lynx and seems reputable so I think Mazuri is probably a solid choice.

Go for block over pellet and don't forget the hay and fresh foods.

I'm late on this. Mazuri is an okay food. It is a lab block. Seed mixes are never okay, its like feeding your kids potato chips for dinner.

And just as a side note, rats can't digest hay. Please don't feed it to them.
