I got their care sheets in the mail. It is the best I have seen anywhere. Very specific and agrees with everything I have seen on www.rabbit.org |

http://www.binkybunny.com/site/FORUM...4/Default.aspx They are just starting out, but they are a house rabbit forum only. No breeders/breeding discussions allowed there. The postings are a bit lean, but I'm sure that it will populate in time. And they seem to be extremely knowledgable when answering question. |

I learned so much from the Petbunny listserv when I got Angus almost 7 yrs. ago. You can get subscription information at http://www.petbunny.net/. Everyone there is very rescue-friendly, but it's a very high-volume, chatty list. |

This is Small Animal Rescue Society of British columbia or SARS BC that we foster/adopt from (The first one is the actual forum thing/rescue board but I put the others as well) http://sarsbc.proboards32.com/ http://www.smallanimalrescue.org/ http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/bc...malrescue.html |

Sorry LuvBunnies. There is entirely too much breeding discussion on that forum. I need forums that are non breeding only. |

Michaela - The forum you posted a link to (I unapproved the post) is most certainly NOT already listed. I double checked to make certain. If you noticed the very first post of this thread listed the criteria for websites that could be suggested. One of them was that they cannot be breeder/breeding/showing oriented. The forum you suggested has an entire section devoted to breeding and showing. Therefore, it is not a website that would be recommended by this rescue oriented forum. |

I'm sorry, but yes it was, twice. As you can see when you click the link for these two there is no forum, that used to be what was called Rabbits Only, now called Rabbits XXXX. Quote: Quote:

If they were left up for public view then they must have been rescue oriented at the time. Most likely the change happened with the name/addy change. Whatever it is, it has breeding info now and is not allowed on this site. |

I'm not going to argue with you about this, but the forum only changed names, it was just the same before. I can appreciate that you do not want it, but I was certainly not in the wrong for posting the new URL when it was already there. |

Here's some of the resources I use. I don't think any have been mentioned yet. General Health: This site has some very fine rabbit health info: H.A.R.E. - Houserabbit Adoption, Rescue and Education http://www.medirabbit.com/EN/index_en.htm Rescue/chat/general rabbitdom: HOME - House Rabbit Information - BinkyBunny.com Bunny Blog Behavior This one is written in a funny style, but what they've observed is pretty spot on: The Language of Lagomorphs |

therabbitworld : The Rabbit World - A Club for Companion Rabbit Owners Hi there, This is the group that I found when I first got my Frappie. These are the sweetest people ever. Their ideals are great too, from what I've learned from them. It's more of a message board w/o sections, but there's good communication in it. You can feel free to unapprove it if it doesn't fit. |

Wow, I just visited the fuzzy rabbit site, and it's a really nice one. I didn't realize that a shelter would let me see if my bunny would bond, and maybe return them if my bunny doesn't bond with their bunny. I was so worried that if I got a bunny for Frappie, they wouldn't bond, and I'd be stuck with 2 lonely bunnies that didn't get along with eachother. . |
