What breed is my rabbit?

I am looking for some help regarding the breed of my rabbit. I got her from a shelter on Saturday, shes about 5 weeks old, and the lady said her mother is a dwarf lop but she is unsure what the dad is. I have put two pics in my gallery on here so if anyone can take a look and see if you have an idea I would be most grateful, as you can tell from the photo she has ears that stick up at the moment, if she is a lop will they begin to droop? This is my first rabbit and a bit confused, personally I think she looks wild but she is very tame and simply beautiful!!

I think your rabbit is a Netherland Dwarf

They come in many colours and dont all look the same but this is the UK Netherland
If you look at the picture down the page the rabbit called thumper he looks like yours.

I cant be sure so i have contacted some breeders by email to ask them if they reconise your picture i will let you know if i get a reply.

I searched a lot of breeds on the internet and this is the nearest one that looks like yours

I just got an email from one of the breeders i emailed she said he could be wild crossed with something to make his temperement nice she said it could be a Netherland Dwarf

I don't think this Rabbit is a Netherland Dwarf (ears are too large). I'm not sure on the colouring, but I think it's just a regular Bun. I think you will find this bun will grow pretty big.

Yes I was thinking that her ears look too long to be that, too. I've never had a rabbit and I no nothing about them. I'm hoping to get one some day.

I don't think she'd be a wild bun crossed with anything - from my knowledge Domestic Rabbits and Wild Rabbits have incompatible DNA (or something of the sort) and cannot mate.

She'd be a regular Bun with a specific coloring (ie. Agouti)
