Question edible wood

I am wondering what types of wood a rabbit can eat other than apple tree branches. Is oak safe for a rabbit?

Re: edible wood

Yes Oak is fine. Oak, Pecan, Pear, Willow, Wicker, Dried Pine Cones, Maize or Sea Grass Mats are just some of the rabbit safe edible, chewable things rabbits can have.

Don't forget that they LOVE old telephone books to shred.

Adds new meaning to the term "recycling". ;+)

Re: edible wood

Maple should be ok. Don't use birch. With birch some say it's safe others say it is toxic. Stay on the safe side and avoid it.
