I don't think Paula was trying to be mean to you. She was saying how that him being blind is even more of a reason to keep him inside. When you made the comment, I guess it just depends on the pig, she kindly disagreed with you. Saying that she doesn't agree, and that just because an animal can live outside and be fine, like your rabbit could be, doesn't make it right. She even said, "Glad to hear your keeping him inside and making a bigger cage." I agree completely with her.

Honey, no, I'm not "out to get you," I'm posting on a forum we are both members of. You started this thread about whether or not to house your rabbit outdoors or inside, remember? And, no, it's not "between you and Ash," if it's on a public forum.

And your last post is absolutely irrelevant to this topic and therefore it's been unapproved. Keep your thread on topic as much as you can, please.

It's great to hear you've decided to keep him indoors and give him a larger cage, as I said before.

Your rabbit got attacked by a bear 3 times? How could you let that happen? If I were you, I would have moved her inside after the first incident.

The bears were trying to get the rabbit food, not the rabbit, she was never hurt. You can't stop a bear from doing anything. It happened when I was young, my parents believed no animal should live in the house, so all our cats, dogs and rabbits always lived outside.

She was most certainly traumatized, though, without question. You're lucky she didn't die from shock.

Nope, you can't, and this is all the more reason to keep your animals inside instead of putting them outside and hoping for the best.

Ash, I know that the decision to leave this rabbit outside wasn't yours, as you were a very small child, but it's a very good illustration of the point - animals belong inside. Not as easy prey in a cage outside the house where anything can happen.
