How can we get rid of her tan/brown stained fur? If we shaved her she would be cold |

This is something I have tried and it has worked, first give it a bath with a shampoo for bunnies. This process is going to take time and patience, start cutting only the surface of the stained just a thin layer , then wait a week and do it again. Remember just a thin layer for several weeks until the stain is gone. Also there are shampoos for dogs to whitten their coat you can buy it but remember the puppy formula and just a small amount should be applied on the surface of the stain. If it is all over her body trim her but thin layers every week and try to make it as even as possible and remember to apply the shampoo I mentioned earlier. I hope this helps have a nice day |

I'm just curious, what do you mean by "stained" fur? |

Like, her fur is dirty...and doesn't come out with baths. |

Oh, I wasn't sure if you meant stains like the stains some dogs get under their eyes or what. |

Bathing rabbits is very stressful for them - they can go into shock. It will eventually shed out. Unless it is really matted, personally I'd leave it. Is this rabbit spayed and housed indoors? How long have you had her? If her fur is stained, it may be she is not kept clean enough. |
