Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 My mom and I are thinking about adopting this super sweet Polish rabbit. (She's spayed.) She would have free-range in my room and Lucky's cage would be either on a high stand or most likely my dresser. The thing is, the rabbit would be my moms companion just living in my room. I would like my own rabbit too and I really want a mini-lop female I saw up for adoption. Can I successfully introduce the two spayed females so they live free-range in my room? Or should I stick to one rabbit? |

There is a sticky with a recommendations of good rabbit forums. http://www.guineapigcages.com/forum/rabbits/8790-need-your-great-rabbit-forums-here.html It can be difficult to introduce two rabbits, or it can be easy, depending on the personality of the rabbits. It's best to get rabbits that are close to the same age, and bring them home at the same time. If you bring them home at the same time, it should be pretty easy for them to bond because they're both in unfamiliar territory, and will look to each other for companionship and security. FAQ: Bonding Multiple Rabbits That site has good information on rabbit introductions. |

Thanks! But I think for now I'm sticking with the Polish. Maybe in a couple years we'll add a Mini-Lop. Either way, I hope everything works out! |
