I think its wonderful that you've provided so much space for them. I have a question though...do you have a problem with odor?? I have 5 buns a rex, a dutch lopeared and the other 3 just domestic buns. Anyways, we moved them out of the house due to odor. We purchased a huge 8 x 14 foot fancy shed with lights, heat, fan. windows the works. It's right behind our house. We put up a large wire pen attached to the shed so we can open the doors and let them run and binki. They're in the process of digging a warren. I told my daughter she may have to close it up or they'll end up escaping. 2 of the males are not neutered yet so, we have to take turns letting them out or they'll fight with the third male we have and impregnate the females. the third male is neutered. We buy a bale of hay weekly and lay it down as bedding for them. its ontop of a plastic tarp so it gets dragged to the back of the yard and dumped as compost. My husband's studying composting as part of a work project and read that rabbit pellets (feces) is excellent in nutrients for composting. I love seeing animals have free roam. When my daughter moves out she'll be taking the buns as they're hers mainly, I'll be relocating the shed and converting it into the piggy barn. I'd like a similar setup so the pigs can venture in and out of the barn when weather permits. You have a nice setup. |

I would have liked to have seen more of it but I was actually going to get motion-sick watching, with the camera being so wiggly! I'd suggest shooting with your camera base up against something like a dresser and moving more slowly and panning less. Love the bunny room, though, and it looks like they're having fun. |
