cage question?

I am adopting 2 bunnies this weekend and I need to start preparing their cage. I was looking at some pictures getting some cage ideas and I was wondering if bunnies needed ramps to get to different level, it looked like in most of the pictures there weren't any ramps from level to level.

Re: cage question?

Rabbits like ramps and levels they can jump on. My rabbits like to have boxes or laundry baskets turned upside down so they can jump up on them. They love lots of room to move around. My female rabbit, makes a mess of her cage. Any toys, her litter box, whatever, she scoots and rearranges everything. My male rabbit, is very neat in his cage. He moves nothing.

Re: cage question?

If it is safe for them to get from level to level, then they do not need ramps.
Make sure each level is at an appropriate height from the next and that they can't hurt themselves.
