A few more to add... Also, does anyone know where to get a rabbit spayed beside from a vet? Our vet gave us a RIDICULOUS quote, are there any clinics or anything for spaying? I've been looking at pictures and notice hay in the litter boxes. Is that preferable over litter? Our bunny has basically sleeps in her litter box and uses the rest of her cage as a toilet (it's a small cage, which we are upgrading as we spea) but uses a litter box with hay outside her cage for when she runs around the apartment. Does anyone have any inexpensive suggestions for covering cords? She seems to be going through a stage where any cord that crosses her path must be chewed on. Thanks!

Re: A few more to add... I cable tied all the cords together and raised them plus they're behind coroplast pieces. You could also cover them with bitter tasting goo (it's sort of a tube in the shape of a toothpaste tube (I've seen it in every single place that exclusively sells stuff for animals) so they won't like the taste and thus stop the chewing.

Re: A few more to add... As far as spaying you will have to call around and see what prices you will find. Make sure ther vet is experinaced. Make certain you also call your local SPCA. Many SPCA's can spay rabbits. Do not trust those products that are supposed to make thinghs taste bad for animals, at least don't trust them for electric cords. They don't deter all rabbits. You will find in computer stores and home improvement stores special flexible coverings for bundling cords in. These work pretty well. Here are a few different kinds Cord Cover Kit You can also find this stuff in the electrical wireing isle of a home improvement store. It's for running surface wiring to create ner outlest and fixtures but works well for bunny proofing too Cable Management Kit This can often also be found in computer stores and Radio Shack (spiral cable wrap ~$3 for 10 feet) to keep your cables tidy. Aquarium and pond tubing, the thick stuff (anyplace that sells pond supplies will have it including Lowes and Homedepot) can be slit lengthwise and the cords can be pushed into it. Woodwork can be protected with plastic corner protectors that you can buy at any good home improvements store.
