ivermectin 0.5 for rabbits? We have just discovered uor netherland dwarf bunny has lice and were wondering if we could use our IVOMEC POUR-ON 0.5% Solution on him following the same weight guidelines? Thanks

Re: ivermectin 0.5 for rabbits? I've never heard of a pour-on version of Ivermectin. Is this made for animals or humans? I'd be worried about the bun licking it off the fur and ingesting too much. Ivermectin can cause harsh side effects in a small number of senstive rabbits and overdosing could potentially be fatal. Please take the rabbit to your vet instead. They will most likely give Ivermectin either orally or via a shot (in a proper dose for species and size), or will prescribe Revolution, a rabbit-safe once a month treatment for mites, fleas, etc.

Re: ivermectin 0.5 for rabbits? You can treat rabbits safely using the same measuring/weight guidelines for Ivermectin as for GPs. It's always best to see a vet though.
