Bunny doesn't let me sleep!

Does anyone know how to control where the rabbit roams inside the house without closing anything off? Because I leave my bedroom door open so that my puppy can go out of my room and poop/pee in her bathroom area, and during the night when bunny gets bored he'll jump on the bed and nibble on my nose and run around the bed like crazy. He has PLENTY of toys for tossing, two lower shelves (1 where the T.V. is and the other a book case) with bedding at the bottom and 2 towels each on top of that and to top it off there's some very colorful bed covers I got from Mexico, and 3 different places to hide under (an igloo for bunnies, a plastic box made out of jigsaw-like pieces for bunnies and that bridge made of colored sticks for bunnies), yet he comes every night and wakes me up several times between 12 A.M. - 6 A.M. Could this be he's afraid of the dark? Should I set up a place for him to sleep beside or on my bed?

Sounds like he wants to play, have you considered adopting him a friend.

What kind of rabbit is it? How old? Spayed/neutered?

Re: Bunny doesn't let me sleep!

I just got him very recently when I found him in the backyard. He's still only about 8 inches long! I have no idea how old he is, but when I first got him he tried feeding from my dog (as if she could feed him milk) but he eats veggies and hay and pellets. I don't know if it's time to spay/neuter yet since I don't know the age... And also I don't really know his gender. I think he's a guy because when I first got him he had like 2 "warts" around his butthole -one before it and one behind it- which i took to be his pee-pee and testicles. I really have no pictures about that but it looked like this

o|o

That line (|) represents the butthole and the Os represent the "genitalia"(?).

The first one had what looked like a small dot right in the middle, which (if it really is a pee-pee) I suppose would be the urethra (where the pee comes out).

The bunny has a dutch pattern with tortoiseshell coloring. I have to figure out how to transfer the pics from the cell phone to the computer if I want to post one here.

At what age would I see/feel his testicles if he really is a boy?

As to getting him a friend - there's no shelters here other than dog/cat ones (as far as I know), so I'd have to wait until someone abandons another rabbit around here to get him one. And if I found a female, should I alter both of them? I know females get all sorts of girl trouble if they don't get spayed, but would the male(?) develop testicle cancer or something if he wasn't?
