    pregnancy behavior

so im just curious about how a pregnant piggy is supposed to behave. Mine is pregnant and im worried as to why shes not eating or moving around much. all she does is nibble at her pellets and hide in her little ferret fleece tube thingy except when she comes out for water. She of course will greedily grab any fruits/veggies i give her. pregnancy behavior-imag0006.jpg

All pigs are different. As long as she's still eating, drinking and seems with and not ill, she should be fine. Each pig is different, I have a pregnant pig at the moment who is going to give birth any time, and she's running around crazily. Just watch your pig, and if she seems lethargic, sick or unresponsive in any way, you should see a doctor.

For about the last week that my pig Zelda was pregnant, she was too big and tired to run away from me like she usually does. It seemed like she pooped a ton extra though.

I am not sure when my piggy is due, but she only comes out of her favorite hiding place to eat and drink. I just keep making sure she always has pellets and hay to munch on, water, and give her fruits and veggies at the normal times. I would assume you should only worry when she doesn't want to eat or drink anything.
