Automatic Membership types

Newbie: New member

• You haven't been a member for 30 days yet OR,
• You haven't made 10 posts yet if it's after 30 days.
• As a new member, you are not yet allowed to Thank posts.
• Cannot Create Social Groups.
• Cannot Blog.
• Can vote on posts.

Cavy Slave: Full member

• After 30 days of membership AND 10 posts.
• Ability to give Thanks on posts.
• Ability to Blog.
• Ability to create Social Groups.

Paid For Membership Types

Cavy Star: Donation of $10 a year.

• Access to a private forum for contributors.
• Animated gifs allowed, 100x100 size.
• More photo storage capacity.
• Larger Inbox for Private Messages: 100
• Title of Cavy Star as recognition.

Cavy Champion: Donation of $10 a month.

• Access to a private forum for contributors.
• Animated gifs allowed, 120x120 size.
• More photo storage capacity.
• Larger Inbox for Private Messages: 200
• Title/Group of Cavy Champion as recognition.
• Able to change title to whatever you want!

Subjectively-Assigned Membership Types

Cavy Person: Demoted from regular membership.

• Determined and assigned by either the impaction system (5 poo points) or the moderators or administrators.
• Member has been determined to be either overly argumentative or too immature to post in the Kitchen or Vegetarian forums. Participation is limited to the less politically-sensitive forums.
• Cannot give Thanks.
• Cannot Vote.

Cavy Caged: Demoted from regular membership.

• Determined and assigned by either the impaction system (5 poo points) or the moderators or administrators.
• Member posts are moderated, that is, when they create a thread or post, it must first be approved by a moderator or administrator before it will be seen by the membership.
• If a member continuously provides inaccurate information or posts authoritatively with no recognized credibility or continues to not only provide no value in their posts, but seems to take away from value in a discussion, this type of member will have their posts moderated until they learn how to properly contribute to this forum.
• This membership category is also not allowed to post in the Kitchen or Vegetarian forum.
• Cannot give Thanks and cannot vote on posts.

Banned

• Banned members can still view the forums, however, they cannot post on the forums. Some bans are temporary--a day, week or possibly a month. Some are permanent. If any temporarily-banned member tries to sign up under a different userid, they will automatically have all their userids permanently banned. Review bannable offenses here.

Thanks status

Members who are moved to restricted, moderated or banned status may have any thanks they have previously given removed from other members' posts.
