Making furniture taste bad

Hi, I let my piggies out free range once in a while and keep an eye on them. I'd like to put something on my wood furniture so they don't try to chew on it anymore. Any suggestions?

Re: Making furniture taste bad

Usually bad tasting things don't really work with animals. Once they get a habit of chewing even the worst stuff won't completely stop them. They'll just work at it until the stuff wears off and they can chew again. A better way is to take a few extra grids or the playpens from walmart and fence off the wood. I've tried lots of chew stop products on horses and other animals and none of it works. They just pause to get rid of the bad taste in their mouth and then do it again.
