Okay, i need to give my pigs more floor time, because right now, they are not allowed to run free at all . . .Don't worry, they have a huge cage, but i know i need to start doing it. I have some problems though 1. My pigs are not litter trained. They just don't get it, I have tried everything and i DO NOT want them going all over my room! 2. I have a lot of furniture in my room, and they have actually gone under my bureau and such. then, they will not come out and the space is too low to reach my hand in, so i end up moving the entire 120 lb bureau! Please help me come up with a solution to this. My guinea pigs deserve to run free sometimes!

Re: floor time malfunctions! For your first issue, that is what a vaccum is for, if you have a towel with hay on it that is were they will most likely pee. Issue number two, use grids to block off the places you don't want them to go.

Re: floor time malfunctions! Make a pen out of grids. Cable tie it together, this way you can fold it way like an accordian. Lay down some blankets. Or, like I do when I have to give floor time inside some plastic sheeting. It's easy to clean because you can vacuum the poops and wipe aways the urine.

Re: floor time malfunctions! Thanks everyone. I will probably use fleece or something though, because my pigs will chew the plastic. One last question: How many square feet of space should there be for floor time? I have three pigs, but will soon have 6.
