If you get things like toilet paper rolls and similar products and cut them to various sizes and stuff them with veggies it would give the guinea pigs something to do. As well as hiding the food under or on top of hiding places. |

I save round oatmeal boxes and other sturdy boxes and make various play things by cutting a hole in the box, taping the oatmeal tube to it, etc. Yesterday I found a wonderful "toy". We have a 4 x 6 play rug for the grandkids. Sometimes I put it on the slippery floor for the piggies. But yesterday I had it rolled up. The pigs had fun going though the hole in the middle. This is a sturdy rug and I supervised, but I see no harm in this. So they had a very long tunnel to play in! |

You can get cardboard boxes of different sizes and cut about 2-3 entrance/exists in them and place them randomly throughout the room. You can also use large children's blocks arranged in odd shapes, kind of like a mini maze. You can use toilet paper rolls stuffed with hay or veggies but be sure to cut it down the middle so nobody gets stuck. Some pigs like blank computer paper crumpled into a ball also. Have fun! |
