I only have a few left over cubes that I have zip tied together so I have had to "cob up" other items to make a fence to keep the girls contained. Busy has managed to bust out of any arrangement I have made and when she gets out, Shady is right behind her !! For the past few days I have had to resort to floor time in my rather small bathroom. I just don't know why a very large 10' x 20' space with lots of toys is not big enough for them and they feel they must charge the gates ! Anyway, after weeks and weeks, Bed, Bath says the cubes are in. I intend to get two boxes so I can make any kind of pen I want, in any room. My question. Has anyone's pig ever gotten over a standard cube fence? I will not put things they can climb next to the fence, but still, Busy is one very determined little critter ! |

One of my girl's can lift the cube's so we just do Baby gates to block where they can get hurt. |

One of my boys climbs and can push around items in the cage so that he can use them to get on top of stuff. My cage isn't even C&C it's smooth acrylic sheeting atm for that reason. He hasn't gotten out, fortunitely he can't get get higher then a few whiskers over the edge but I have looked over and caught him sitting on top of his house and other things in the cage looking up over the edge like he's sure as heck thinking about it! Just be aware determined pigs will rearrange their furnishings to their best advantage. |

So, I dunno. Maybe he's planning a big escape! LOL I can just hear him, in his 1930s mobster voice, "I'm breakin' outta dis joint!" |

My boys pick up their houses and move them to where they want them. We have an on going joke that they're digging a tunnel a la Great Escape and just don't want us to know. |

Mine will move their igloos so they end up over the food bowls, almost like an "I'm not sharing with ANYONE!" But then when they are done eating, they realize that the bowl takes up most of the igloo and they are kind of stuck because it won't move anywhere. I've also walked in when the little igloos are flipped over or caught on the edge of the food bowl. |

I got my grids at Bed, Bath so I am all set. And the cashier let me use coupons for both boxes ! I had one for 20% off and one or 15% off. I can make any kind of fence I want for the girls now !! |
