Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 I was looking at this website, It had pictures of there Cavys play area. The person who created the website and that owns the precious Guinea pig had created these awesome toys for their Cavy. They made the toys out of recyled boxes, Tissue boxes, Round tubes, Etc;. Is it a good idea to make a Cavys play area out of recycled items? |

Absolutely. If you recycyle something and make it into something else, it's a lot better for the environment. You will even find that one of our moderators, VoodooJoint even has a cage made of entirely recycled items. I've seen it in person and it's a really cool cage. |

Thank You! I was wondering because what if something toxic to the Cavy body use to be in that same box. But I know what is toxic and what is not toxic, So I have nothing to worry about. I bet the cage of VoodooJoint has an awesome cage! I would like to see it if you have any pictures or website to refer me to. |

Other than food, the things my piggies love most in life are recycled things - oatmeal containers, cardboard boxes, paper bags, even a ball of kraft paper. Fun to run through or chew on or rustle or climb on - what's not to like? |

I know Lucky LOVES eating tissues! I freak out too since she's not supposed to have them so she just settles for the tissue boxes. |
