Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 My girls love to get out of their cage and explore, but i can't put them on the carpet because the last few times they've been peeing and it left a big stain. I'm also out of grids to build an enclosure. most of the house is carpeted I just need to know what to do to let them have floor time. any ideas would be great. |

I have carpet too, so what I do is place a shower curtain in a long hallway, where you will have 2 guaranteed walls, so you don't need to use as many grids. Sometimes I don't mind if they get a little on the carpet though :P I hope this helps! |

Put down a shower curtain or something that will protect the carpet and then put towels over the curtain for traction for the guinea pigs feet. You dont have to use grids to build an enclosure, you can use anything around the house (like a strong piece of cardboard) to prop against the wall or to cordon off an area |

The kitchen was a success! I put a baby gate to close in the kitchen and they loved it! They popcorned and wheeled, I'm glad that plan worked. |
