Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0
My bedroom will be great for floor time, theres a lot of space and nothing Willow can get under. But I'm afraid if I let her loose that she'll be impossible to catch I mean theres no where for her to go but I dont want to traumatize her by chasing her or anything, I know tht won't be good for her. So should I give her floor time right now or wait till she's easier to catch? |

Give her floor time now. She may never be easier to catch from her cage--even pigs that get used to being held often don't like the process of being picked up. My pigs are much easier to pick up after floor time. They enjoy running around for a while, but eventually then want to go back in their cage. If you have trouble catching her, try offering her a favorite veggie or start blocking off parts of the room so she is cornered. That will be less stressful than chasing her. |
