Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0
Hello, everyone! I was wondering if it is safe to use a product called UrineGone (or something similar) in the area my piggies play in (though they only get floor time a few times a week because even though I have SO MUCH for them to do: things to hide under, run through, their food and water, etc.) they just huddle in the corner, even if I "leave the room"(i peek around the door of course to make sure everythings OK.)(But I do understand how important floor time is!) For those who don't know, UrineGone uses enzymes to basically eat the ammonia and remove the odor, and stains. In other words, it makes the urine dissapear (hence the name :]) So is it safe? Thanks! |

Not sure if it's safe or not. You could do a mixture of baking soda and vinegar and it should do the same thing. Google "vinegar" and you should get a ton of pages on it being used for all types of cleaning jobs around the house, garage, pet areas, etc. |

I saw this product at the petstore today. I didn't have very much time to look at it thoroughly, but just to be safe - I would also just use vinegar and water as Ly&Pigs stated. (; |
