Talking Where did you buy the "walls" of your floor time areas?

I am trying to find a reasonably priced set of interlocking grids or a collapsible playpen for "floor time".

Or, even better, a creative way to block off a hallway without having to purchase the interlocking wall pieces. As of now, we are laying our two guitar cases on their sides and stuffing the remaining holes with towels so that Miel can have some room to move around.

Thanks in advance for your help!

You could use zip-tied grids. You can get a box of 23 panels from Target for $14.99 and 100 cable ties from, well, any hardware storefor under $5. I got 100 of them from a local farm and home store for like $2

For the hallway, you could use a baby-gate thing! Just make sure the holes aren't too big.

I use spare grids that are zip-tied together, which means they can be folded together for storage.

I also use the zip-tied grids. I put down a layer of plastic sheeting and then a bedsheet over the carpet to make cleanup easier and prevent staining the carpet.

There are many things that you can do.

You can use zip-tied grids, you can use a dog play pen (if you want lots of space), or a pig play pen. You could also use the walls of your cage. Take the coroplast out and voila! Instant playpen!

I used the extra grids left over from making my cage and used zip ties to secure them together.

Re: Where did you buy the "walls" of your floor time areas?

I use the Midwest small animal pen, model 100-15 I believe. It's 15 inches high. The colors are pretty and they are super easy to fold down and store.

Google it to find a pet store that doesn't sell animals to buy it from! I just got another one from Pet Crates or something like that.

Re: Where did you buy the "walls" of your floor time areas?

I live in the UK and use Sammy's hamster play pens to make a safe area. I bought two (12.99 each) and attached them together then put hooks on my walls so that I can simply clip them on. Perfect hight and easy to store away.
