My Guinea Pigs and their Floortime antics

I tried doing floortime with my guinea pigs and I've tried various methods of keeping them in one spot. I've tried putting blocks at the doorways of the room I use (there is a doorway with out a door) and I've tried forming a pen out of extra grids.

Either way, the two boars break out like it's the Alcatraz and head towards their cage! They chew on the bars and move any obstacle I put in place. They'll actually pull on the grids or lift them up!

Anybody have this problem before? I can't think of how to keep them from damaging their teeth trying to escape a pen so I have stopped trying to do this.

Anything pig-safe and pig-proof that I could use to keep them in a section of a room for a little while?

I assume they need to get used to the new space -- or is it cruel to force them to do something they don't want to do?

I use pieces of leftover coroplast to contain them in the area.
