Floor Time question? How much time should you're piggy get for floor time each day? How should you go about setting up for floor time because i don't want him to bite any wires or pee on the carpet in my room?

Re: Floor Time question? Guinea pigs should get at least 1 hour of floor time a day, although the size of your cage will depend on how long they should have floor time. Basically the smaller the cage the longer they should have floor time. As for setting up the room, pick up any wires and cables, block off any holes, block off areas where you do not want them to go. Good things to use to block off areas include wood planks, any left over grids, cardboard boxes etc. Alternatively you can make a play pen using left over grids or you could buy one.

Re: Floor Time question? To night I have just given my pig Frank his first full free range time of one hour and during that time he started to try to eat the carpet in the room he was in is this dangerous for him.
