Question Bordetella

Okay if the piggies go in the same run, same room and live within a close proximity to the rabbits will they get Bordetella. They wont ever acctually meet or live together but can it be transmited via living in a close proximity?

I'm not really sure myself, but try posting at Guinea Lynx http://www.guinealynx.info/forums/ - I'm sure someone there will be able to help you.

Lightbulb the answer

Okay for future reference it can be passed via the air and if they share hay. So they have to have their own air space and make sure that they have different hay it should be okay. On Guinea Lynx they said something about a jab but I duno! (You may have gathered that I asked the same question on guinea lynx and this was all of their combined answers.) I might ask my vet about the jab.
