i trained mine to 1 and 2 on a towel when i have them out. i think they like the feeling of the fluffyness of the towel so that might work with yours. Also try not to give him alot of food when hes out

They usually like to pee in corners, or in a nice dark place. Try making a sheltered hiding place for him under a chair or in a corner - put some bedding in it (a bit of used bedding to attract him there) and you may find he'll go there. Anything he does out of that spot, move it straight to the place you want him to go in.

If he keeps going in a certain spot, try protecting that area, or putting his little hiding place there instead.

If you really can't encourage him to at least pee in one place, then just make him a pen in which you can cover the floor space using a shower curtain and a towel or something.

Lightbulb re Peeing problem

At floortime I always put out my GP favorite Hideyhouse. I also put some treats in it. My GP always goes alot there. Probably cause it is dark and familiar. So I put the hidey house on top of a bathmat and then a newspaper. That keeps it from hetting on the carpet. Then all I have to do is roll and toss. It is very easy. Give it a try.

indeed a towel is a very good idea . Put i big towel on your coach (or whatever you are putting them on) and put sometihing leather or plastic under it in case he does pee cause it will flow right trough the towel . I have some experience with guineapigs in the wild and i have noticed that they will allmost never drop or pee on places where they come alot , they are rather to drop or pee in corners where they never come . The GP does like the fluffyness of the towel and if you train it alot it will get houseruled in a certain way . Remeber that a GP NEVER i repeat NEVER can be trained , it's not like a dog or a cat that you can make houseruled and learn him tricks

I use one of those tiny rubbermaid stools. I put a towel underneith of it. They love to do there thing in the dark, I suppose we prefer to do it privatly as well!

Yeah, the shower curtain idea seems good. I was thinking about a tarp, but I can't find one, though shower curtains are everywhere. But why can't a guinea pig be trained? I think I've trained my Boe.
