Where can I let my piggies play outside?

I don't have a lawn, just a concrete driveway. It seems a miserable place for them to have to run around. Is there some kind of fake grass material you can buy, so that I could put that out for them to run around on?
Or any other ideas?

Thanks.

Re: Where can I let my piggies play outside?

The floor of your room. Piggies love running around and exploring things. Even normal stuff. We've got some pictures of floor time here
Free Range/Floor Time - Guinea Pig Cage Photos

Its cleaner if I put down a towel and fleece first, but sometimes when the significant other isn't home I just let them run. Course then I have to pick up the poos and any urine before he finds them. (He doesn't check this site so I'm good there, plus he knows I do it :-P)

One note, keep them out from under your couch, if they go under that they are rather hard to get out with anything short of a carrot. They seem to like hiding and pooing in small, dark places, that its hard to get them out of. I wire-tied grids together to make a movable fence and keep piggies out of places they shouldn't be.

Also make sure there's no ant traps, or house plants on the floor in chewing range. Piggies will chew on anything, its they're way of finding out what it is, and many house plants are poisonous. Plus even if they aren't your plant might die due to lost leaves.

Re: Where can I let my piggies play outside?

They don't really need to be outside at all. I just close all the doors in a hallway in my house. I put some blocks up for them to climb on and I block off the end of the hallway with a big peice of coroplast. They love being in there and they climb all over the blocks.

Thanks guys, great tips.
I'll try and find some of those cube things to make a fence.
