Screened-in porch.

Is there any reason that my piggies can't have the run of my screened-in porch to get some exercise? There are no nooks and crannies that they could get into, the floor is a linoleum-type material, and the only furniture out there is plastic yard furniture.

They would always be supervised (who wouldn't want to play with their piggies?!) and while it isn't grass, it would be fresh air and a nice big running space. Also, since it's screened in, it's got a roof and is nice and shady.

Re: Screened-in porch.

Some people do this. Fine as long as the porch is safe, the pigs are supervised, and the weather is fine.

Re: Screened-in porch.

I think that it sounds grand. You might think about putting something like a sheet or blanket down for traction and poo collection.
