Re: quick question If you're petting rather hard that may be why. If it was neglected, you should get it checked out by a vet if you haven't already--it may be mites or a side effect of malnutrition. Good luck!

Re: quick question Its really cool. My Scruffy does the lonely sound but he cant be with any boys though. He only likes to be with Muffy his sister. None of them are fixed at all and they all are seperated.

Re: quick question I don't get it, it doesn't matter thats he's a boy. Get him a friend! Boars live together happily, its just a myth that they don't get along

Re: quick question Yes, but did you quarantine for 2-3 weeks or did you just put them together? Introductions are crucial

Re: quick question You need to introduce slowly, and not all boars will get along all the time. It may just be a clash of personality. Read www.cavyspirit.com/sociallife.htm for more info.

Re: quick question Well, no. Thats not the same thing is it and unless there was very close supervision a rabbit-pig combo is not safe. How old is your guinea pig. An old boar and a young boar usually make a good pair. If you get the ages and quarintine right, then I dought there will be much fighting
