Since my mum wont let me have the pigs indoors, I thought that maybe when its raing I could have them free range the shed instead?

Re: Floor time in the shed?

I'm the same, I'm not aloud the indoors either. Aslong as the shed is definatly secure and not freezing cold or boiling hot, and you supervise all the time I don't see why not. Although the shed would have to be basically empty to have them free range.

Re: Floor time in the shed?

Isn't there any possibility you could convince your mum to keep the piggies indoors? I assume you discussed this before you got your piggies, but maybe your mum changed her mind? Well, if the temperature is good in the shed, you could make a good cavy home in there. Make sure that the roof of the shed is good and absolutely water resistent, and that there are no cracks in the walls which allow wind to come through.
