Question My mouse?

My cousined gave me a mouse a couple of days ago, i'm just wondering what food they like? And are those play cages for mice are they good?

I have it in a normal cage at the moment and a play wheel is in there.

I don't know much about mice, I have been researching hamsters and have read a little bit about mice on the way. You should have your mouse on a solid plastic wheel, no rungs. By a normal cage I assume you mean a wire cage, make sure the openings are small, about .5 cm. And by a play cage do you mean ones with the tubes? If so those would be great for a mouse. I'm not sure what food is best for a mouse but at all costs avoid Kaytee food, it contains a deadly preservitive called ethoxoquin(sp?), actually avoid any food that contains that.
