I am planning on building my chinnies a bigger cage. I would like to use Closetmaid wire shelving, but I'm not sure if they are safe, their description says "White vinyl finish." I wouldn't personally-- the 5/8inch bar spacing is still big enough for a chin to get a leg caught in when "bouncing off the walls". |

Thanks ferndale - I actually went to home depot yesterday to check it out in person and they are definitely not suited for chinnies. |
