Baby birds...will mommy push them out?

So under my deck is a nest... I've seen it for awhile but I wasn't able to see any babies. Well I heard chirping so I looked through a crack in my deck and saw a baby bird! The eyes were slightly open and it had a little black mohawk! It was really ugly but in a cute way! So I grabbed a latter and saw that there were really 5. I know that they are swallows because I've been watching them and have seen the mom go and feed them.

My fear is that since the nest is fairly small that some of the baby birds will fall out of the nest. Under the nest is gravel. I have taken care of abandoned baby birds before and I have a heating pad and stuff incase it does fall out but what should I feed it in case it happens?! I'm really worried something will happen to them!

P.S., I've been shaking out the fleece in my yard and it often has carefresh and hay in it and the material of the nest looks like its made of our carefresh! It also has hay so one can only wonder....I feel privliged to be able to watch these babies grow up and even more so that I helped contribute to there home!

I just wanted to share this with everyone and I want to be prepared in case anything happens! Lets hope not!

I would buy a can of wet cat food, and perhaps place something soft where they would land to help them. Can you use some old hay to make a pile under the nest?

I suppose the babies are all grown up now so it doesn't matter but for future reference you an buy baby bird formula at the store and feed it to them throuhgh a syringe.
