Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 Has anyone used fleece for their hamsters? I'm litter training my rats right now and want to know if anyone has used towels or fleece for their hamsters? One of my hamsters is litter trained and uses his "potty" faithfully. |

It's not good to use with Hamsters because they like to dig and burrow. |

Yea I'm pretty sure my hamster Little Chef would just rip it apart and it would just be a bad thing in general. He does awesome with the chips though so I just let him use that and keep my fleece to my guinea pig. |

It's not safe to use for hamsters as they can easily choke on the fiber of the fleece. Quote:

I wouldn't use fleece as hamster's are big diggers. They would probably be happier with bedding. It's their instinct to burrow. |

My daughter's hamster had a fabric bed that she proceeded to demolish. I'm sure if you put fleece in the cage the hamster would probably shred it. |
