I would be afraid the 1.5 grid openings would be to big and the parrot would get their head caught. I have never done it, but I don't think it is a good idea. Maybe if you found some grids with much smaller openings, and you would have to secure it VERY well, because parrots are much stronger than piggies! |

What kind of parrot the big kind wont be able to fit through the wholes but they can probably snap the grid with their beak. Then the smaller kind can probably fit their heads through. Ive thought about it. Their are really good ideas for parrot cages other then the standard kind. If you look up cage by desing they have a great set up and it looks easy to make if you are handy. |
