Re: stupid question

Im not sure, but when its like a pet skunk, it means you do something to their sent producing parts so they can no longer give off smell. I think its the same way for a ferret

Re: stupid question

it means their scent glands have been surgically removed, usually done at the same time that they are spayed/neutered. If you get a ferret, you definitely want a descented one.

Re: stupid question

Re: stupid question

since they are related to skunks I would imagine so. Even descented ones have an odor

Re: stupid question

I wanted a ferret soo bad last year. Until I saw their poops. It reminded me of a cat. Then it struck me, I didn't want any more cats, so why would I want something that has similar poops?!!!? And plus I realized that ferrets and cats don't get along which would totally not work out for me.
Then for a while I wanted a sugar glider, until I realized how much time it took to care for them. So I just stuck with guinea pigs. Waaayyy easier!
