Worried

Along with a Cavy, i have two mice. They are feeder mice but i felt so bad for them in the pet store and bought them. I have a white one (Lunna) and a brown one (Sweety). Sweety is very tiny even though shes not that young, on the maybe 7th day of having her i realized she has a lump on her side. I thought it was a cancer lump, however a few days later i squeezed it gently and white puss came out? So i squeezed the rest of it out and applied alot of ani-bacterial medications to it. She Looked REALLY bad for the next week or two. I was just waiting for her to die.

Then i started to feed her baby-oatmeal, cat food and after another week shes FINE. She looks completely healthy? Should i still be worried? Does anyone know what the lump was?

Re: Worried

Sounds like it was an abcess that ruptured. Probably caused by a fight with another mouse.
