    Dog killer gets maximum sentence

I belong to the Facebook group that got over 100,000 signatures on a petition to get this scum bag the maximum sentence, so it does my heart good to see he got it. I really hope the cell block he's in is full of dog lovers. Rest in peace, sweet Buddy.

This made me cry. I'm sorry to seem like a hatred person or something but he TOTALLY deserved it! Let's think this way:
1st step) Who strangles a dog? HIM

2nd step) Who drags a dog? HIM

3rd step) Who gets put into jail because of over 100,000 people who care? HIM

See, the good side ALWAYS wins. It just takes some patience.

I can say I strongly agree that what he did was extremely terrible, but do you think a person should be killed for a crime? That seems awfully harsh. I believe all people can be good, and maybe this guy just needs some -major- help. Am I being too forgiving for saying that, or is there some validity to that statement?

To Sdpiggylvr, I don't know if i believe he should be killed but let's (god forbid) imagine it was one of your pet's? Calling it a crime hardly describes it does it? What he did was cruel, hateful and evil I agree that all people can be good but they can be evil you always have a choice tho. If that man does need help and get's it then good for him but there's no way i'd ever let him near my animals (If that was likely) I honestly do try to look at thing's from all point's of view but i just don't see any resonable excuse for cruelty and that poor dog suffered.

If the punishment is only a slap on the wrist, what prevents anyone from not commiting crimes?

That guy sounds like a serial killer in the making. Unfortunatly I don't think that is the last time he will be in the news.

The sad thing is, he'll probably be out in less than three years. It's always crazy to me how people who violently abuse animals or attack and rape women get a lesser sentence than those who kill. By attacking and doing evil crimes, you're not only attacking that animal or person, but the people who love them, and it's something that the victim and the victim's entire family and friends have to live with for the rest of their lives, when the attacker will only get a few years behind jail - and usually end up doing far worse in the future. Weird justice system we have.

It's good he got a prison sentence..
But yes I agree you will see him again in news for a crime. It's proven serial killers or violent criminals often starts with torturing animals.
I wish they will help him, seriously. Maybe in this case jail wasn't the best, unless they have it followed with some psychiatric help.
News like this always make me cry. Pets trust us. They don't deserve to be harmed in any way.
