Talking Petcetera Closing

I just thought i would announce some good news in and around my area. Looks like a big pet store chain, Petcetera, is going out of business and will soon be closing. I really don't know why but i am sure we are all happy to hear that another animal vendor will be gone.

Re: Petcetera Closing

A pet store called "town & country" closed down here too. They sold everything dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, rabbits, ferrets, newts, a whole bunch of different lizards, snakes, hermit crabs, and a few others.

Re: Petcetera Closing

Yes, Petcetera hasn't been doing well for a long time a believe, and the one near me is closing too (nation wide). I thought they were an ESPECIALLY bad petstore all of the animals had tiny, bare cages and there were lots of sickly looking animals. Whenever I walked through the store, it always seemed to have very few supplies as well. Their 'vetcetera', doggy daycare, pet photography, and grooming all seemed like pathetic attemps to increase popuarity. I remember looking at their idea of dog daycare- there were a few bored, hyper dogs in a room (without a staff member around) that we could see into through windows. There were a couple of toys, a chewed up bed, and they dogs had pottyed all over the floor. I must have watched these poor dogs for 3/4 of an hour, and during that time no one came to check on them or take them outside. I wonder why an owner would PAY for this. Your dog would be happier at home. All that to say, not sad at all to see it go!

Re: Petcetera Closing

A pet store here closed last year. It was called Lurch's Pets. BUT, a PetLand is opening in my city. I'm SO ANGRY!!! When we drove by I started screaming. I HATE Petland and the conditions that they keep there animals in!
