Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 When I accidentally came across a link that said "Stop the use of live dogs as shark bait", I honestly thought it was a joke. Unfortunately, it was not a joke. Fishermen are taking advantage of stray animals and using them as bait. Apparently they hook them through the nose and through the tendons of the legs, throw them in the water, and the struggling animal attracts sharks. Just horrendous. I am glad the Sea Shepherd is giving rewards for information leading to arrest. Dogs Used as Shark Bait on French Island This picture may be unsettling for some people: Live Dogs Used As Shark Bait |

I saw that picture a few years ago and I'm pretty sure we've talked about it on here before. It's disgusting. |

That is absolutely disgusting. Just when I thought the human race couldn't get any worse people like the ones who are doing this prove me wrong once again. Sometimes I feel like finding a deserted island and packing up my animals and kids and living my life out there away from people. |
