I realize this was in 2005 but it just makes me so sad and angry! My Motto with my Guinea Pigs and my Dog is "No animal gets left behind" I was watching a dog whisper and the rescuers were too late for some dogs who had drowned and were chained up with no high place to go. To me, I think that is abuse! |

I very much agree with that. If your leaving your animals behind to endure that, then that's just downright cruel, Although I know there are certain exceptions to some families who tried their best, and couldn't do it. I won't be the one to judge. I must commend Voodoojoint though for her terrific effort to save everyone. I read her story on the mod thread, and she is one heck of a person for getting her family and 16 pets in one minivan. That's a huge thing to accomplish and it makes her a hero in my mind. |
