Talking Bedtimes Stories

Anyone went to watch that movie just for the guinea pig involved? Well... I did. It's a real guinea pig but they CGI the eyes and of course the actions too.

Re: Bedtimes Stories

How is it?

I am a sucker for Adam Sandlers' movies.

Re: Bedtimes Stories

I'm hoping this will be in the "cheap theater" for my son's birthday, if it's a okay movie for a 3-year-old. He loves seeing piggies on tv/movies.

Re: Bedtimes Stories

I saw this movie. I brought the kids from work to it. The guinea pig is so animatronic. It is cute though. I only hope people do not try feeding marshmallows and burgers to their guinea pigs after seeing the movie. My big pigs would probably eat a burger if given the chance. They are so fat. I wish the guinea pig in the movie had a C&C. That would have been awesome.

Re: Bedtimes Stories

I liked the real piggy sounds and stuff they used- and I thought the eyes would bug me more than they did.. all in all you sometimes roll you eyes 'cause you know more about piggies, and it is a movie after-all. It was still good and sweet I thought.

Re: Bedtimes Stories

The neat thing is that that's actually a real pig! Only the eyes have been CGed. There's an article on the training here.

Re: Bedtimes Stories

We loved the movie! Bugsy was great, especially since he looks so much like our Sammy. Of course we know that GPs don't eat marshmellows and burgers but was pretty amusing to watch none the less. I am also curious as to who at Disney is the one with the GP addiction. (Sky High, Bedtime Stories, G-Force)

Re: Bedtimes Stories

Bugsy was absolutely hilarious, probably my second favorite character (sorry, Bugsy, Patrick and his lisp won me over). Of course, with a C&C and some veggies instead of burgers and marshmellows, the movie would be about perfect. Yeah, babybunny, I was wondering that myself a couple days ago...

Re: Bedtimes Stories

The cage that they have him in is so small though. I watched the movie for New Years, before I was introduced to this site, and I thought the cage was small before I was given the facts.

Re: Bedtimes Stories

The cage was too small for me. And the diet I didn't agree with. With that being said I thought it was cute and it was a movie. I just hope people don't use it as a guide to care for their guinea pigs.
