That sad. I think he was kind of cute.  I hope he feels better wherever he is. I don't know how I feel about Worlds Ugliest Dog Competion. I feel like it just gives the public a chance to laugh at a dog who usualy hasn't had a good start to life. Like one dog had an indented brain which made her eyes bulge because of the pressure. Her original owners were going to have her put down. And this dog. Cancer, one eye, the works. Sorry about my rant. RIP Little Puppy. |

I sort of agree with your statement there Animal House 36. People do laugh and make fun. But I think all of the dogs are adorable! |

Slightly late on this, but it's sad, but I have to say Im more ok with the Ugliest Dog competition then any other one. The other ones are all about "good" breeding and what not.. atleast you can assume that these dogs are probably being taken care of properly by their owners because of their conditions and they are probably not being bread for this competition. But I dont really know, havent researched it, so please don't quote me on that, its my assumption. |

I think it's a fun, family orientated competition that gives these people, who obviously love their doggies a chance to show them off in a non-demanding way. I also think they're so ugly that they are cute. |

Poor little puppy. I think the people who can look past a dog physical features and past the deformities and scars are the best pet pet owners. They don't' go mushy because they have a pet that has the softest hair or is pleasing to the eye. They didn't pick him or her out cause he was the cutest of the littler. They picked their pet because it was so mistreated or ignored that they in particular needed a champion with a voice on their side. They picked their ugly pet because that poor animal needed a helping hand and a family to love. It is sad that our world focuses on the outward appearance of the body than our heart. My heart goes out to the family ho lost thiere little guy, any pet owner who will pay thousands of dollars for radation so thier animal will live insead of thaking the easy way out deserves an award in my opinion. |
