My cousin is highly allergic to dogs but my uncle and aunt have always wanted a dog since there beloved lab died before they had there kids. Well, they did there research and bought a "daisy dog". I don't know how I feel about them. I wouather they get a poodle or something from a shelter but they abviously didin't feel that way. But even with there hypoallergenic dog, my cousin still can't be licked. Any way, I have never heard of that hairless breed. Could someone PM the link to the story? I really do hope they decline. I wish I knew someone who could get in contact with them and tell them about shelters. |

I saw the Obama's (well, Michelle and Barack) on 60 Minutes last night, and they said that they weren't going to get a dog until they have settled in the White House, because as responsible pet owners, they feel getting a dog during the transition wouldn't be best. They also added it would be a family dog-trained by the family, not a crew of dog experts. Soo...lets hope for that shelter dog! |

They seem like responsible pet owners. Hopefully they'll set the trend to adopt. |
