Returning horses to the scene of the cruelty

I hope you won't mind me posting this. I've been meaning to for a few days but have had PC problems and Marsha on my hands.

People in the UK are probably aware of Spindle Farm. Some of the donkeys and ponies rescued from there needed 3 WEEKS of care before they could stand up unassisted!!

Now a judge has decreed that they some of the ponies should be returned to the farm, the others will be sold at auction. The RSPCA are fuming, they wanted to rehome these donkeys and ponies so they could ensure they get decent homes.

The story is here

BBC NEWS | England | Beds/Bucks/Herts | Rescued ponies returned to family

There is an online petition which can be signed, unsure if i can post it here ... will ask

Re: Returning horses to the scene of the cruelty

That is terrible! If they found so many dead animals on the property, why are they going to risk more animal's lives?
Why are they returning all of them?
Why were they in such bad shape?
Medical reasons?
Owners were unable to provide care?
I would be pretty mad as well.
I don't understand why they are returning all of them. In some cases, they return only a few.
Good Luck to the animals. I hope that things are better for them.
